Put your program on your C: drive, your projects on a different drive, and your loops etc. on another drive again, is a tested and common method of installation that many users here adhere to. I have seen it written many times on this forum as a fix to everything from latency issues, to drop outs and crashes. I also wondered why it wasn't given as an install option in C3.
I also agree with Craig, too much angst against passionate, Cakewalk programmers just achieves angry responses, not fixes to the issue. Vote on it, I will.
