So, i just started setting it up and already there's a first doubt. my main Keyboard a Kurzweil PC3 will be my main controller, and im thinking about using markers to jump from song to song. So, i can already set a midi button in the keyboard to do Next and Previous marker, but i cant seem to find a way to do "jump to marker X".

Since the Kurzweil can have initial midi commands when you select a preset i want to add a "Jump to Marker X" whenever i select the Kurzweil setup "Song X". I need to point a button to a CC that corresponds to Markers (not next and previous). Anyone knows how to do this?

Thanks

Before it all gets too complicated and off topic ... I had the same problem: all songs in one Sonar project and jumping between using markers ... however, there's only PREV and NEXT for markers so it only works by stepping through while looking at a screen ...

THEREFORE ... we changed the set-up to use the play list feature (have a look at this before you decide on how to build your setup) which allows you the have each song in a separate prj file, it loads them automatically according to your sequence, even auto-starts if you want ... so this can handle a lot of things for you (like switching FX and digital mixer per song, basically anything you could do with MIDI data on external gear)

Play List documentation. It seems this would be ideal for what you want to do.

I don't have Professional installed, but it's been a part of the core SONAR program for a long time so I assume it's there. The option should be at the top of the list of Templates when you open a new file.

Damn... how could i have missed this, it´s like i been living a lie! I still have my X3e so even if it´s not in Professional i can still use X3 for live usage.

Well thank you guys, all the help that was given in this topic is more then enough for me to use Sonar in live gigs and never look back.
