I have a MAudio Keystation Pro 88 controller. I seem to be losing it's connectivity to Sonar (usb - I like the bus powered simplicity) steadily these days in the middle of sessions. Multiple times a session - seemingly like a timeout from not using it!?! Anyone know what might be making this happen?

Do you have power management turned off for all your usb hubs, devices, etc. in device manager?
 

I turned those off ages ago, yet some are rechecked. Gremlins galore... Thanks a lot for the reminder!!
 

If you unplug a hub and then plug it back it back in another location, a revisit to device manager is necessary to turn off power management for that hub.
Not saying that's what happened but that's an example.
 

I came in tonight and fired up the DAW. 20 minutes in, the Keystation was disconnected from the system again. Checked all USB port power management. All were turned off. PITA...
