Was that in X2? If so I think I checked it out breifly a couple year ago but I haven't really used any of the included FX Chain presets. Kind of dumb of me but I was forcing myself to do everything from scratch to see how everything affected the sound. Now that I'm actually just trying to get some work done I should probably start going through all of those again to see what works with what... especially considering we have a pile of shiny new new ones.
Thanks for the tip. I've got some drums that I've only done a quick bus mix on for tracking so I'll be trying that out for sure. Cymbals and hats are one of the things I still struggle with. I find the ear fatigue sets in so quickly when honing in on those parts it's hard to nail them down.
