Can cakewalk place the PDF Manual in a third location. It's set up the same in Command Centre as it is in My Products in accounts. I don't see why you would need to be a purchaser, prospective purchasers may want to read it before buying.

Many users have shown disappointment that it's bundled in with a download that is unnecessarily (if you are not interested in the other content that it), I'm in that camp, tring to create a more streamline program  (also Vietnamese internet is not great).

I can understand where it currently is, it fits there. But as the manual does not affect the operating of the system, I think it should be available without treating it like an update.

And should you do it, can you create a link in this post along with the other helpful info

Manual pdf's have always been available off the Cakewalk website.

They probably just haven't gotten around to it yet.

In the meantime, those who really need it get it.

Cakewalk has been particularly generous with manuals over the years. Many developers allow virtually no access to information or support forums to anyone but registered owners. I agree there is nothing like a manual to investigate new software prior to purchase, but it also can be a resource for users of cracked versions. Over time, Cakewalk has been moving toward merging program accessed online help with the pdf version, but it would be nice if they did keep access open.

The way I look at it is, if a program can be cracked, then there's nothing stopping them putting the manual in with the rest of the torrent. There is no copy protection with manuals and you don't need to register to read them. So why bother trying to hide them from unregistered users?
