I'm a pretty new user, so the answer to this question is probably obvious to more experienced users:
 
I've finished editing my latest project, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the whole project down to the time that my tracks end at. The whole project is about 3.5 minutes, but it wants to extend the project to over 5 minutes, and I have almost 2 minutes of blank space at the end of the track when I export it. I've tried so many different settings but I can't seem to fix it. Please help!

If you cannot find the events causing the overrun (or don't want to bother with them), after selecting the tracks to export, select a start and end time by either click-dragging across the time line, selecting a time range using markers or using the Edit menu Select by time or From/Thru options.
