Just downloaded the new dog (as this was the fastest) and fired up the pre-Braintree Platinum

Tried to get BOZ's dog barking but it crashed Platinum soon after leaving a MiniDump ... but since it's the same project that had issues with mix recall lately, I rather ask if anyone else had issues with the dog before reporting this.

Not letting the dog out in that project any more. Doing resonant filters with PC EQ.

No problem with it here. I put it on a drum buss and tried all extremes of settings.

From the sounds of it I would say that it is basically a variable frequency, high-pass filter with mix knob.
The fixed-Q setting provides a peak at the cutoff frequency.

You get a peak at the desired frequency then it sharply rolls off everything below that.
Similar to what we can do with the Sonitus or ProChannel EQ.

It does sound good though and will free up the ProChannel EQ for something else.

The peopleat Boz will be the first to tell you that everything the plugin doescan be done with eq. Probably why they offer It for free.  I look at as a time saver.

That in fact is what Boz says about it being free.

I can verify a full on crash from inserting bark of dog into the pro channel on a project i've been working on in platinum. However, If I start a new project, insert audio track, and then add it to that tracks pro channel. No crash. I'll continue to investigate with a couple other projects.

Please send a link to the crash dump and we can check it out. It may or may not be related to the PC module itself.
