Dimension Pro loads fine. I begin to play the controller, I'm hearing sound, then all of a sudden it cuts out completely and I can't get the sound to come back. So I delete DPro and then re-insert it into the project; The sound comes back and I'm playing away and after a minute or two it craps out again suddenly and doesn't come back on. I can repeat this procedure ad nauseam and get the same results each time.

I tried it in a new blank project with Dpro the only soft synth loaded. Same result.

Under-powered PC? Add the Performance Module to the Control Bar and see if one of the processor meters climbs above 50%.

Does DimPro work Stand-Alone.
If so, then there are a few things within Sonar to look for.
Midi buffers, bit-depth values, sample rate etc.

I'm in the middle of this mess, too. It worked after the update, then it stopped. All other synths were responsive, but not D-Pro. So I tried reinstalling the upgrade, but it didn't fix it. I just now uninstalled and cleared if from the registry, then reinstalled it like new. Now it works!

In case others experience this problem, can you list the registry keys?

already checked the performance module..it's at 3%. Not an under powered pc.
Seems to work fine in stand alone mode. Went back and opended a new project and now it's working. If it stops again I will try the uninstall and deleting registry keys method

I'd love to, but I had CCleaner do the job for me. Regular checkups on the registry are always good for performance.

One other thing I didn't mention. Between the complete removal and the new installation, I started Sonar so it would subtract D-Pro. That might also be a factor in my success.
