I just this very minute got done with a fresh install of SPLAT and authorizing via the offline authorization.

This is the last Cakewalk, inc. release, not BandLab.

On a fresh OS image or on the same machine you had it installed on before ? 

No Cakewalk anything has ever been installed on this laptop before.

Offline install still needs the activation server running, BTW.
 
Plus, that auth file you got is ONLY good for the hardware combo you installed SONAR Platinum on. I know, I tried using a new OS install offline auth file on another new OS installed computer. No go. Had to get another auth file for that computer.
 

Question is, if you have made an offline activation of your Platinum, and after some time had to do re-install of the same OS on the same hardware, can you then use the same unlock code you got the first time from cakewalk? Anybody tried it?
