Hi all,
Typically whenever I upgrade, I can usually justify it to my wife in terms of what "goodies" I get in relationship to just buying them. A strong case for this round seems to be the AD2 producer pack with platinum. the website lists it at $250. My question is, if I get this, will I still be able to utilize the artist pack gear I have already purchased? I am adding to my library, not replacing it, right? Also, I saw the new Rematrix reverb. Does this effectively replace perfect space now? what about BreverB? I also have Zeta+2. Will the "free trial" with Platinum screw that up?
The one thing I hate about upgrading various software is when it "undoes" the things I have bought or installs a trial version of something I already have. I usually get around it, but it's just enough of a PITA to make me think twice about it.
What have your experiences been?

Firstly you only need to install what you want the new Command Centre allows you to manage what you install.  Consequently you do not need to install Melodyne, Dimension Pro, samples, loops etc if you already have them installed.

Regarding XLN Addictive drums, what you get is the AD2 engine, three kit packs, three midi packs and three kit pieces.  If you already have AD1 that will carry on working as previously to use your AD1 stuff in AD2 you would have to purchase a separate upgrade to AD1 to AD2 from XLN.  What Cakewalk supply is not an upgrade.

Thanks for clarifying. I already have the AD2 engine, so I will just get promo codes to go to XLN's site? What about the perfect space thing? Will that still work, it does in X3.
