Can anyone speak to the system resources required by these things yet?  Specifically, in comparison to the standard PC equalizer and the PC channel and buss comps.  I assume the +10dbs need more juice, but are they somewhat comparable, or is there a huge difference where I'd only be run 1/3 as many instances.

I've asked now three times with no reply and I don't feel like this is a petty request, can we please see what the PC Modules look like? I have no doubt as to the quality of the EQ, Comp and Strip but I'd really like to see how they translate to PC before I buy.

Thanks

On the Boz website it shows the full plug in, but when viewed as a Pro Channel, the compact view means that less options are available to display. He's asking to see the Pro Channel view, not the full plug in view, to see what the limitations are of using it as a Plug in.

I believe in one of the threads running, cake confirmed it's not as originally planned for practical reasons, so where can he see what the final released pro channel version looks like. with followed with requests for the Pro Channel version to fly out to the full version when needed, like the Quad EQ does, giving the best of both worlds.

Can we get screenshots of the PC modules. The only one I can find is the compressor.

I was disappointed when I opened up the EQ and Comp in Prochannel. It does not look like the screenshots in the Cakewalk site and eliminates some of the functionality in both modules. In addition, the Expander portion of the Comp/Expander is not shown. If you want the full functionality, you have to open it up in the FX chain, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it a ProChannel module.

I have asked Andrew about this, but he has not replied yet. I'm hoping I did something wrong in the setup.

With ProChannel modules sometimes we do have to make design decisions to make it work in the format. We tested it and found it very functional for the majority of tasks but if you do need the full version, it also includes that format. I'll see if maybe we posted a beta of the compressor on our site but it should be pretty similar. I hope you are enjoying it. We've been using it a lot around the office and love it.

Hi Kamikaze,
You can see the compressor PC module (but, for some reason, not the EQ) at the bottom of this page:

I had seen the compressor PC pic with the pre release info, and too the above discussion about it being different to mean it was as originally pictured. But this is the first time I've seen the EQ module. Where did you pick that up from?
