Just a quick note on the EQ, it's a really interesting animal. After some experimenting with pink noise running through it there are a couple things I noticed. First, the parallel thing is strange, but cool. Normally if I took pink nose and boosted one band at (e.g.) 500, and then boosted another band at the same frequency, the boosts would be additive. Not so here, though it's also not completely ineffective as you might expect with a pure parallel eq. Why? Because of the next thing I noticed: the bands are not all the same. The curves and even gain amounts from one band to another are different. +20db at 500 in band one does not get you the same results as +20db in band two. Along those same lines, +20db in band one at 500 and -20db in band 2 at 500 also does not result in no change, but rather something closer to the "Pultec trick".
Anyway, I haven't gotten to try it out on an actual project yet (experimenting with new toys on other peoples dime is something I try to stay away from), but hopefully in the next few days. I think it's likely going to be an EQ that does specific stuff for me, rather than a general purpose EQ....more along the lines of my Pultec emulations than a replacement for my FabFilter EQ.
It's a cool addition Cake. Thanks for adding it to the Pro Channel.
