It doesn't look like the bundle on boz's website includes the PC version, so Cakewalk's would constitute a deal.

I'll say one thing about boz, the support is out of this world !

I just downloaded the Bark of Dog plugin because it was free.  For some reason the link didn't work (at first) so I emailed boz support.  Got an answer in less than 5 minutes.  From boz himself, no less.

My difficulty kind of fixed itself so I now have the plugin.  Haven't tried it out yet, though.

So, if bought directly from BOZ, do we get all the formats including PC?  If I buy from SONAR in addition to PC, do we get the other formats for use in other environments?

Just asking,
JIm

I just had an email from Boz to say that the PC version is now included in the installer on the website.

If you already own the David Bendeth Signature Series, the PC version will be in "Your Account".

Great support- he answered my query within minutes.

I'm not seeing any info on the channel strip in the bundle package.  A vid or something would be nice, to help me explain to the wife why this is a "must have" ... like some of the compressor presets...etc    ;-D

edit....just saw the NAMM videos.

As it says in Andrew's post: "You can purchase the bundle today for only $99 and that includes all Mac/PC formats (VST, VST3, AU, AAX, RTAS and ProChannel)."

I wouldn't blame Andrew and the rest of the staff at CW if they threw their hands up and just said screw it...!

I bought a new Ford F150 4x4 last February.  I think I'll contact Ford MoCo and see if they will give me every option they come out with for the new trucks....FOR FREE...!

Yes to both questions.

my ears are shot.  The NAMM 2015 video...I was hearing so slight differences, if at all.  Is this unit that subtle.  I'm kinda getting the sales pitch impression, that it isn't.. at least Led Zep drums aren't.

According to my opinion $ 99 is still too much for this...

Kind of sucks though that you've so recently been pushing what amounts to half an upgrade based on promises of future goodies over the coming year and yet the first thing you announce has a price tag that's almost as much as people just paid for the upgrade ??

Consider this:

"You can purchase the bundle today for only $99 and that includes all Mac/PC formats (VST, VST3, AU, AAX, RTAS and ProChannel)."

Please be aware that Cakewalk sells products other than SONAR. The CA-2A is cross-platform and has sold very well because, well, it's pretty awesome. Cakewalk is clearly interested in offering something to Mac and non-SONAR users, while offering the bonus of ProChannel support if you are a SONAR user.

This is very different from a Cakewalk-created upgrade to SONAR that's part of the membership program.

As to the cost, I can quibble over whether a price that's 66% of the upgrade is "almost" as much, but Cakewalk is not going to undercut Boz Digital Labs' pricing. However, you DO receive a ProChannel version, which the Boz package does not include. [edit: apparently now it does]
