Then I would recommend not buying it, and sending an email to Boz Digital Labs specifying why you think the price is not justified. Maybe they'll change it.

That is funny - but so TRUE - I'm in business and you know you can't please everybody and sometimes some people just don't want to be pleased...   Just saying...  :-)  Comes a time sometimes you just have to say - well maybe it's just not for you and that is perfectly OK...

This may make me sound old but Sonar Platinum (and many other modern DAWs) offer absolutely astounding features for what I would have paid for a four track cassette deck 20 years ago! Expecting Cakewalk to throw in a third party VST bundle for free on top of what Sonar already provides may be somewhat unreasonable.  Please bear in mind that I tend to be very grateful for everything I have in life!

Yes, jb101 got a response from Boz and I believe him. But the change hadn't been made on the web site when I checked.

I, for one, want to support SONAR and if I buy (I am close), I will buy it here even though there isn't any benefit to me other than supporting my favorite DAW company.  I will demo it first for this is the OEM compressor built into the famous HELIOS (Dick Swettenham) desks used in Island Studios, Basing Street along with the Rolling Stone Mobile (made famous in the lyrics of SMOKE ON THE WATER).  I know they used a lot of 1176's but for the goto compression on other tracks, it was this ADR compressor that was built into the Helios desk.
 
You won't get BONZO's drum sound just with the compressor and for some of the drum mics, it was definitely part of the alchemy of the sound.  Problem I have, is I don't remember how it is supposed to sound and I need to play around a bit... but, if I can coax some magic out of this baby, I will be putting my hard earned dough into the Bakers basket.

Not whining...just stating facts...it's been $99 at Boz all of January and STILL
is $99...so it's not really like a we're getting a "discount"...

That's what we agreed to with Boz. We did work with him to port it over to ProChannel, which I think is a good for SONAR customers. This is a great deal at $99 so I hope customers will see the tremendous value and the great work Boz and David Bendeth did on this plugin.

my ears are shot.  The NAMM 2015 video...I was hearing so slight differences, if at all.  Is this unit that subtle.  I'm kinda getting the sales pitch impression, that it isn't.. at least Led Zep drums aren't.

NAMM floor is not the way to judge this plugin. There's a free demo on his site. We are working on some sound examples too.

So, if bought directly from BOZ, do we get all the formats including PC?  If I buy from SONAR in addition to PC, do we get the other formats for use in other environments?
