Hey all,

I'm finally getting around to installing Platinum, and since Cake is recommending the CCC for installation I thought I'd give it a go. However, it is saying none of my products are installed. I obviously haven't installed Sonar Platinum yet, and I still have to reclaim my AD2 Producer bundle (although I already have AD2), so fair enough. But it's saying Rapture isn't installed, Dimension Pro isn't installed, Melodyne Essential isn't installed (I upgraded to Editor) and under Sonar Platinum none of the options are installed, like all the extra sound bundles and the basic FX. I really, really don't want to install all that again just to get a green light. I do want to install Craig Anderton's FX chains, obviously, but it says "requires Sonar and all included plugins".

What is the best way to proceed from here?

It saying those things aren't installed for the serial numbers you got with the platinum purchase.  You don't need to install them.  If you install platinum and a couple of the other picks under platinum (CA X1 amps and one other thing - I forget and not at the DAW), Platinum will find everything else.  However, Rapture & dim pro (and the other stuff CCC doesn't install) will still show red.

Although you will need to go to XLN site to redeem your AdPacks, MidiPacks and Instruments.

The C3 indicators only track products installed by C3. It does not interrogate the PC for previously installed products. Definitely skip Melodyne and rely on Celemony for updates. The SONAR Platinum core, Anderton Collection and "Help and Tutorials" (if you want the local help file) are all that is needed but I installed everything except Melodyne to get functioning C3 indicators.

Thanks! I vaguely recall reading something like this on the forum but it looked kinda weird when I went to try it myself.

I hope they upgrade the Command Center at some point to check for older versions. I would assume the Bakers know where to look in the registry. Seems a little clunky, but oh well. Thanks for the heads up, guys!

+1 on Sanderxpander's suggestion! The CCC should be able to detect previously installed applications and determine whether we have the latest version installed.  I'm sure this can be done!  There's always a way!
