Half their stuff is for more rock minded musicians (which is fair enough), and not for me. Knowing that I can't have credits in the account for up and coming stuff is going to put me off buying anything that becomes available. In December with the sales, if anything is created in this year, I'm unlikely to purchase. If I get some credits from cake next year, then I can only use them for stuff that comes out this year, not next. Cake may not bundle AD2 next year, but if they did, I'd have to hold off purchases Sonar until XLN bring out something I want, otherwise the bundle has no value at all.

They have something for every style except marching snares. They do lack a lot of percussion though even with their percussion pak.

That's true, XLN's bread & butter line up is geared more towards rock.......BUT, how many more rock kits can they really be putting out before it starts to saturate?
I think they'll have to venture onto expanding with different genre's (if they're to maximize their customer base) and have more variety in their mix.

For me, (since I enjoy using AD2) it's nice to have all my drum sounds in one place.......I like it to be good sounding, quick in editting for good results, and having them sit well in the mix.

@Guitarpima: regarding their percussion.....the percussion midi pak is excellent to use with any of the adpaks as it plays the 'percussion' instrument per which ever kit you are using. I was doing this last evening to test out the sounds in Machine (electronic)drums, and was very impressed at the variety.

I'd love them do an 'Un-Plug' set of 3 AdPaks, that (using a less Jazz sounding kit) for brush, hot rods, mallets. And using those to fill out a variety of shakers in the percussion sets. I think it would be hard to sell a shaker sound as Kitpeice, but this would easliy include them.
