I have a project with 34 tracks going. I have 12 tracks of drums I am trying to hide. I select all 12 (have also tried putting them in a folder) and have track/console in sync. They hide when I select hide. But, if I change to any other screenset, they pop right back up, and the folder disappears that I put them in. Is there a way to make them hidden until I want to display them again? Thanks, Shep

Since I don't use screensets, I can't speak to this, but I am curious about one point: when you hide the tracks do you hide them by hiding the folder instead of hiding the tracks one-by-one?

It doesn't work either way. if they are in a track folder and you 'hide track folder, the folder hides, not the tracks. If you click 'hide tracks' with them in a folder, they do, but change views and they come right back.

What version of SONAR are you using? I can't reproduce this in Platinum. Tried X2 for kicks and couldn't reproduce it there, either. 
 
If you're using X3, did you install the X3e update?

Umm, is the fly in the ointment that the tracks are a frozen synth, and the folder was created post freezing? I don't know why it wouldn't work, but that's all I got.
 

Here's pics of the dilemma. I have more odd 'only me experiencing this' stuff going on it seems. The one thing that has disappeared is the strange knobs shifting when changing views. No sign of it now, and there was at the beginning of this project - I'll call that a win!

I took the frozen synth out of the folder and deleted the folder. Unfroze the synth. Created a new folder, added unfrozen synth to it. Hid the folder, changed views. Folder hidden, tracks not. Hid the tracks with and without the folder hidden, same result.
Damn the luck.

Is this something I should call support about?

Are you hiding them in a locked screenset?
 
If so your changes will not stick until you unlock it
