Changing screen-sets add envelope

I notice sometimes that when working on audio tracks without any envelopes then change the screeen-set a volume envelope gets added to the track automatically.

Is this normal or is there a setting I need to change to stop this from happening? TIA

I'm guessing that the screenset you are changing to either has its edit filter set to automation or you have automation lanes visible. Either way the result will be a volume envelope gets drawn.

Either hide the automation lanes in that screenset or change the edit filter.
