I'm on the subscription plan which I started two weeks ago. Loaded up Sonar today, and it's giving me a pop up in the corner that says I need to activate my copy and that I have 13 days until it reverts to demo mode. When I click on the link, it takes me to the Cakewalk 404 error page. I know I can still work, for now, but it makes me nervous. I've changed nothing with my firewall or the program, and I always run the program on full admin rights. Tried starting it from the Command Center to see if that would solve the problem, but it's the same.

Anyone else dealing with this?

I would start a support ticket. This might have been posted in the Store forum as I think they check there often for issues..

No news yet, but they're having really bad weather up there right now. I filed a support ticket. Someone stated in another thread that they are aware of the problem, and there's a solution in the next update. For now, I'm just watching. If nothing happens in the next couple of days, I'll call them.

I think IF your license does expire and move you to demo mode that Cakewalk should credit you whatever days you end up being in demo mode before the fix comes out.

Hi Guys,

I had the same problem. I contacted support via email and Joey Adams was able to help me;

Simply log out of Cakewalk Command Center and then log back in, launching SONAR Platinum directly from the Cakewalk Command Center after you've logged back in.

To log out, click the settings button (looks like a cogwheel) in the upper-right corner of Cakewalk Command Center, then click Logout near the bottom.

Following these simple instruction cleared up the issue :).

Good luck, let us know if it worked for you guys...

It cleared up the issue, so thank you.

But, it also made all my programs in the list go red except Sonar.

To get the indicators to go green, reinstall the packages. The C3 will not download the packages again but will rerun the installers. The C3 could handle this better but this is the only way I know to get everything back in sync.

I had the same. I checked And all the red light were actually installed en working...

So no need to reinstall I think. After I checked that evereything was working I went and installed the packages again because of the red lights and just in case.... something would not be functioning properly wich I cannot confirm. Just a bit paranoid I guess :)

I am glad I could help you, specialy being a noob an all ;).

Happy resonant baking
