Andrew, is it true you have to ski to the office?

The amount of snow that Boston has gotten is off the charts. No city would function well with the amount Boson has had to deal with. Being used to snow is not at all what this is about. No one is used to this amount of bad weather in a major metropolitan area. Its a little like a slow motion flood. People are without heat and power plus its difficult trying to get food. Deliveries are delayed or canceled.

Boston and the north east coast is in my thoughts.

I only asked because it seemed to be taking a long time to get a customer support issue dealt with. I'll wait and see how I go.

Weather has been pretty bad but what's been more of an issue is the public transportation disruption as a result of the snow. We are definitely no strangers to snow but nothing like what we have seen the past few weeks.

Just imagine how boring it would be to live somewhere like San Diego or New Mexico

I am savoring this beautiful cold crisp weather and trying to store as many memories of it as I can in preparation for the nasty hot and humid summer. I work outside for much of the day and nothing feels nicer than being wrapped up all toasty warm with that frigid air on your face. I found my old ear muffs yesterday and added them to my outfit. It was perfect.

Cold is one thing 96 inches of snow is another.

Well, it should be interesting by Tuesday... more snow today, then warming and rain, then dropping back to around 0 for Tuesday AM. What will that do? Melt half the snow, cause flooding, then cover it all with a nice thick sheet of ice? I don't know. I'm guessing that there is a plan and is equipment to deal with things like this. I know New England will be glad when it is over!
Good luck.

I'm not at all worried about Bostoners.  They've been getting snowed under since forever.  If anybody's used to it, they are (maybe not as much as Buffalo).

There seems to be this trend recently of people being pussified over weather conditions in the East. It's Winter.
