If I write and on off of a parameter it now stays on.  not happening in X3..
 
EDIT: Tried X3 today and its happing in X3 too.. weird  Maybe because all saved files have change to a black Icon ( meaning something change our older files) , When I save a new file or open an older file in X3 I no longer have the grey X3 icon .cwp file it has changed to match platinum not sure if that makes a difference or not. just noticing it.

If anyone has any Vengeance effect plugins such as the VPS bundle, Glitch **** or tape stop can you please see if you can write some automation and then playback to see if the effect turns on by it's self.
 Any help would be great!!!
 

I contacted support over at vengeance got a response from . Sent a report to cakewalk , no response .

This was the message I recived from Vengeance .

hi,

as it seems, your DAW does not set the first off. it just records the first on.
so when you start the playback from begin, the hosts sets the ON value.
you just need to draw a OFF before the first ON.

seems to be a bug in your DAW.

Totally Stinks when you don't receive any conformation whats so ever from anyone on the CW site or from CW, But the plugin designer responded right back requesting a video and and saying its bug within your DAW.

It may be that very few people here use those particular plugins. I for one have never heard of them, but that doesn't mean anything.
 
I personally have not seen the kind of automation problem you are seeing, and I've automated a ton of things, including on/off parameters. If you can't get it to work, copy a clip of the audio you want to apply the effect to into another track and use the plugin on that track.

How long dose it take for someone @ CW to get back to you.. What other channels can I go thru? Feels like this issue won't be resolved or looked into . should I call , should i receive a confirmation of my bug report , i received nothing . All I know it could be a user error..

Cakewalk's email support can take quite awhile. I had an issue some time ago that took over three weeks to get a response to. I had already resolved it by the time I got the email. I would suggest calling instead.
