I have an audible delay playing the Access Virus TI2. (100 ms)
Connected via USB.
Newest Virus version 5.0.8.00
When I play vst-instruments (z3ta+, Vienna, Drums ...) they are all perfect in time. Although I play them via the keyboard from the Access Virus I don't hear any delay. So there is no delay recording anything.
But recorded MIDI-tracks playing on the Access Virus have always an audible delay. And only the Access Virus is always playing with a delay to all other audiotracks and vst-instruments.

Asio 512 Samples. (Roland Octa Capture)
I get the same delay with WDM.
I have also checked other USB-sockets and cables.
Maybe it's a general problem with USB.
The last possibility would be the Virus connected via MIDI and not via USB.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Or am I the only one who has this problem?

With 512 samples latency, all external audio is indeed being delayed (played back) with 512 samples at least.
You should lower your latency (buffer) settings to, for instance, 192 or even lower, if your computer can handle it.

Thank you.
If I set the buffer from 512 to 256, 192 or 128 the delay gets even greater.
The smaller the buffer, the greater the delay.
I can go and have a cup of coffee in this time.
The external (USB) Roland Integra 7 is perfect in time - and then after a big delay, the virus Plays behind all other instruments.

I guess, that this is a general problem with the Virus TI2.
In other Forums I read of many peoples having the same problem with other DAWs.

If smaller buffer settings result in greater latency, what happens if you increase it?

Wow, that's really weird. I own and use a Waldorf Blofeld without any hassle. There is ofcourwe some latency, but it is "doable".

If I increase the buffer to 1024 or 2048 the Virus TI2 makes an errormessage that it needs 512 samples or less.
With 1024 or 2048 it plays with a lot of dropouts. A lot of notes are missing.
If I set to 512 samples it has the lowest latency. But even that is too much.

I will try a MIDI-cable.
