Not sure in the steps to install addictive drums 2. I see ad2 in platinum (which I now have) but when I open ad2 I'm getting options. First comes up Fairfax 1 (not installed). I see in other posts that I can choose 3 of the many drum sets shown. How do I pick and choose and then install? I'm trying to find a video or explanation.

You have to download the XLN online installer at their website.

thanks guitarpima. I've logged into the installer. Shows that my ad2 is up to date. Downloaded the demo version of Fairfax 1 (which seemed to be the only option) Still not sure how to pick and choose the 3 options for kits such as Vintage Dry or Studio Pop and actually download them. In sonar when I open up ad2 I just get the window with demo for Fairfax 1 and the other options say buy now.

When you're logged in to the installer, click on "Register Product".  If you've already typed in your serial number, you should see where you can select your kits, etc.

As others have pointed out, when you register your serial number, select "other/not sure" in response to "Where did you get this product?"

Cakewalk provides the serial number (I think it's in the email receipt when you upgrade/purchase Platinum).......also check the Command Ctr. (under XLN Addictive drums) I'm not 100% sure on which way I received it though. Someone else might confirm this.
 
Once you get the serial, go to the XLN Addictive Drums web page and after you log into your account, go to Register Product.
 
Once you enter the registration number, it'll take you to the page where you can select your 3 adpaks, midi's, kits. Then, run the AD2 Installer and everything will get updated.
