I say leave Mix Recall as is. It works great for it's intended purpose.

If you own a digital mixer with scene recall you'd see mix recalls function. 
A digital mixer can recall a snapshot of a multi channel mix. But it cannot change whats coming to the inputs, the muti track deck ( Sonar) does that. It can mute and un mute different inputs and it can change the levels and it can change the effects. 
 

Definitely leave mix recall as is...I just assumed on my part that it could do everything:)...but no worries....
the program is awesome, the bakers are awesome....what more can there be..:)...
oh wait...still waiting for my Cakewalk Coffee Cup(get it, C3 hahahaha).....
