Hallo,
i got a questio about the routing internal the px64.
it is much more useful to the shaper before or after the compressor to grind a .

Thank you.

You can think of the Shaper as a special-purpose dynamics control that specializes in the attack. So you would use that first to shape the attack, then compression to determine the overall dynamics.

Hallo Craig,
thanks for your question.

which is why I 've been thinking about it is that when I switch the compressor from the Shaper , this also smoothes the transients and then no longer recognizes the shaper transients . Whatever. Somehow I have a feeling that if I the attack with the shaper still work out something after compression , the result sounds a little rounder .

Somehow, it is sometimes difficult to understand the matter of sound engineering as unskilled .

Greetings, Tomas

I find the compressor in the PX64 to be fairly limited in terms of user control, but the attack should be optimized for drums/percussion so I'd still put the shaper first as Craig suggests
