Hi all

Is it possible to add a shortcut to open Melodyne to the new "Command" buttons on the toolbar in Platinum

I would love to be able to select a clip and not have to navigate through all of the menus to add it

I can't find a way to access the "Region FX" menu and I can't find it in the main menu trees

Or - is there a keyboard shortcut I am missing?

Any ideas?

Found the Keyboard shortcut: CTRL + M

Would still like to have it as a shortcut on a "command button" though...

Thanks for the keyboard shortcut! I hate having to go through the menus as well.

To me at least, the Command Button is my most used time saving feature of the new "SPLAT", (Sorry Craig).

I have, among others, "Gain", "Create Region FX Clip",  and "Bounce to Clips" assigned to the buttons. To add a command to a button, rt click on a button, select "command", and scroll down to the command that you would like to use.

Saves me a lot of time when editing from going through a bunch of menus to find a particular function.

Hope this helps,

Walt

Did you manage to find it under commands? ... it is listed as Create region FX ... just after the listing of global commands. I missed it the first few times browsing through the list.

Yes, I found it under "Commands". I'm not exactly sure why it works, since it doesn't reference Melodyne. It just works.

Thanks guys

I thought "create region fx" would bring up the window asking to choose Melodyne, Vocal Align etc.

If it goes straight to a Melodyne clip then jobs a good 'un - although I am liking the KB shortcut

It is funny - Bounce Clip was the first command button I made as well
