I got AD2 with my upgrade to Platinum from X1. The Overhead and Room mics are new to me. Any tips or general approach to mixing those in? I like make acoustic folk/country/Irish kinda sorta music with pedal steel. I don't need to get too crazy on this. Thanks!

The rule of thumb that I've always followed, in mic'ing and mixing real drums, is to get the drum set sound as good as possible with the OH and Room mics and then start bringing the close mic'd elements in one at a time until you're happy with the mix.
I do the same with drum sample libraries and it works well for me.

It's really a matter of what sounds good to you in your songs.  Just experiment and see what works. I have been using Addictive Drums for a while and I can always construct a drum track and mix it to where it is superb for my songs.  Don't over think it, when it sounds good then you will know. This trick/technique probably won't apply to the music styles you like most, but one cool thing you can do with a room mic is use it as the only drum mic during a bridge or other transition part in the song.  You can automate the mute control on the individual piece mics and mute them all at once.  Compress the room mic to your liking and turn it up.  This gives the drums a very different sound for a bridge/transition.
 
Another use for the room mic is to compress the heck out of it and mix it in to taste.  You can get a bit of the loud boomy Led Zeppelin like drums this way.
 
Bob's comment of mixing until the room and OH's sound good on their own is also very good.
