Can you give us any word on whether these new synths will be part of the sonar membership, or just for separate sale?

You don't get Cakewalk's iOS programs or instruments as part of SONAR membership, either (you do get new samples and presets for instruments, though). I suppose that could happen in the future but certainly, membership is not being promoted on that basis.
