there WAS a guy named cjay who attempted to help - not enough detail though
I running an edirol UA 25 soundcard/midi out to ketron
Now if I insert a softsynthTT1 or whatever & solo it I'm able to bounce that - BUT anything thats using the ketron for sound I cannot bounce - says it contains NO audio data -there's no "folder" for it like there is for soft synths
Just attempting this as several guys said I should be making all my midi files into mp3s for solo/duo....

OUCH - never mind - delete LOL

So you got it figured out?
Don't sweat it. We all have the occasional "duh" moment.

yeah - all of a sudden...I added 2nd driver profile (didn't know I could do that)
So it'll work w/ketron & soundcard but not w/midisport & ketron - thanks 4 reply

If its hardware meaning a hardware synth you can only record the audio in real time.

I Should have mentioned I'm running all this out to Bose T1 via USB as well - seems sonar lost track of it in the last couple reboots

You can not bounce from the Ketron.  You have to record it.  So connect the audio out from the Ketron to the Bose T1 line input(s); you will need two audio cords if you are recording stereo.  Connect your Bose's USB to your computer. Set up a track to record the Bose USB. Play your MIDI track assigned to the Ketron while recording the audio via the Bose USB.  You should end up with an audio track containing the Keton part.

You must have the Bose on prior to opening Sonar so Sonar can find it.

Note you can do the same thing with the Edirol just replace Bose with Edirol in the above instructions.

I hope this helps.

Please don't talk in riddles. This is very simple stuff. The output of your Ketron has to be sent to Sonar as audio and it can only be recorded in real time as if you are recording your voice.
