Why? You'd (apparently) be more confused than those that do.

Well Gee Whiz! At least SOME of you got email messages with the February cutoff date. And others got email messages with no cutoff date. I got an email message today (some of which is shown above) that says it will cost me $199.00 to upgrade NOW! This is hysterical! I guess I’ll get another email on March 1st telling me my upgrade price is $499!

That's exactly what was in the email I got a few days ago :

 !! No, No, no…… wait…. !! This is PRICELESS!! No wait, no it isn’t… It’s, it’s, it’s…. $499.00!

You’ve just gotta keep your sense of humor Paul P. Don't let this stuff get to you.  And, on a serious note, it sucks that your significant other lost her job. Been there, experienced that. Luckily, my wife is once again gainfully employed. A speedy economic recover to both of you. There are LOTS of things more important than the latest edition of Sonar!

Ciao

Cakewalk used too/may still do some very cool things with the NDA. But I can't talk about it. :-)

Thanks Earwax.  My wife is in fact back at work, but for significantly less than before.  She really likes her new job, much more than the previous one, so things are good, if tight.  It's been a good lesson in appreciating the value of things, with people coming out on top.

Glad to hear it! My wife, too, had to take a cut in pay. But she loves her new job. Far less stress and drama. So yes, a good values lesson indeed!

Take care.
