  • Platinum Users: Did they fix the screen jumping when clicking take lanes between tracks?

Simple test.

With two tracks both populated with enough take lanes that when viewing the bottom most lane the Parent track is offscreen (above the screen).

Step 1) In the first track click around, select stuff, do edits, whatever. Doesn't matter. Just do something.

Step 2) Scroll down to the bottom lane in the second track so the Parent track is offscreen (above the screen).

Step 3) Click pretty much anywhere within the lanes either in the Track Pane or the Clips pane.

Does the screen jump up to the parent track the lanes belong to (which should have been offscreen originally)?

This was reported in a thread (by me) and confirmed by a couple users and a Baker (sorry... I forget which one... Willy?)

I did not however file an official report because I figured a Baker had seen it and implied it would be looked at (I should have filed a report but yanno... lazy spazzo).

Those who are familiar with this will know what I'm talking about and know it is annoying as heck when editing across multiple tracks with lanes open (which I have to do often due to my penchant for dual input recording).

I was perusing the Fix list Craig posted yesterday but didn't see any reference to it (understandably because it was an oddball bug) so was hoping maybe now that is has been out for a while someone could tell me whether it has been fixed. It really does drive me batty.

If it is NOT fixed then maybe I'll get off my Bleeples and submit a proper report so they can fix it in one of the monthly updates.

Thanks and cheers.
