I bought Softube's TSAR-1 from on online reatailer, not knowing that the included TSAR-1R would come with the Pro Channel module. This was a pleasant surprise. I notice, however, that, when selecting it from the list of available PC modules, unlike the rest of them, no icon is displayed. Am I missing a file or did Softube not create a PC icon for TSAR-1R? Thanks in advance for any insight.

All of the Softube ProChannel modules lack an icon when you're selecting them from the ProChannel module menu. Other than that they all work exactly as you would expect.  They are well worth having.

I have the Softube Bundle, and they all show icons in the ProChannel menu - TSAR1R included.
 
Have you tried rescanning plug ins?

Interesting.  Rescanned plenty over the years.  They've never shown for me.  Never bothered me either though.

I just rescanned and the icon still isn't showing.
 
I'm wondering if they're displaying for you, jb101, because you bought a bundle that was specifically designed for the Pro Channel, whereas with what I purchased, it was sort of an extra feature. Maybe they didn't package the icon with the version I bought.
 
As lawajava suggests, it's not that big of a deal, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the little aesthetic touches, like a nice icon. Maybe I'll contact Softube and see what they can do.

It may need a reset and rescan, I can't remember off the top of my head, and not at my DAW at the moment.
 
If it doesn't bother you, then I wouldn't worry.

My Softube bundle never had icons in the PC menu either. It never bothered me enough to try to fix it though.

I don't think that it would overly bother me, either.
 
But, if I found out that others were, I might wonder what else was not with my system.
 
The OP asked the question, and I seem to remember a similar query in the past.

Seeing as Leadfoot said his Softube Bundle didn't show icons, then I am guessing it is something else.
 
Did you reset as well as rescan?
