I like others welcome the good news.  However I have to agree with some posts that I will not be using ezd2 at this time.  I would like to hear something directly from toontrack or cakewalk that this in fact works, not that I don't trust Mod Bod but what worked for him may not work for others.  I got so aggravated when I first got ez2 and I don't want to go through that again.  I have started using addictive drums as an alternative to ezd1.  I still like the ezd software better but at least I have more options also using addictive.

I'm on the beta test team for Toontracks.  If you set EZD2 up with the SONAR option engaged, you will get a dialog box that asks whether you want to work with 8 outputs or 16 outputs.  If you are working on a legacy project, select 8 outputs and you are good to go.

I got bit by the midi output issue just a few weeks ago when I bought Platinum and for fun started working in SONAR again using an old project that I found on my hard drive.  Once I realized that all the other softsynth tracks were messed up, I simply opened EZD2, went into the settings and chose the SONAR option.  Then I closed the project without saving it.

Immediately when I reopened the project, I got the query box that asked me how many outputs for EZD2 to use and I selected 8 and everything opened up as expected.
