The word to look out here for is "rumoured". I live in the UK so I understand about not having constitutional rights as well I though you might be American so I apologise for that .

I am simply disagreeing and not seeing any actual evidence with what you write, rather I think you have a tendency to exaggerate what people are writing. So I guess that makes me snide and provocative, and I guess that makes cakewalk have a commitment about third party plugins they have no control of.

I'm sorry but I'm simply disagreeing with your POV.

Cakewalk as I post have said, late January,

Andrew Rossa has said Later thing month.

Not hinted, stated.

OK I stand corrected. Sorry.

So let's get this clear though.

The OP stated "is there a timeline for members features" - there isn't. Just coming soon.
The plugin is supposed to be available late January. It's not February yet. Little bit early for debate about Cakewalk commitments, and regardless this announcement appears to be nothing to do with Sonar membership (as per OP's question).

I'm from Kent, but that's not really relevant. You didnt need to mention it even if you thought was an American. I hadn't mentioned them, so you didn't need to repeatedly.

Threads are more than just the OP's comments, that what makes forum great, they are discussions.

Nothing was rumoured. I pointed out 2 times now it was stated.

My comments were following another posters who I agreed with, that another poster had contradicted. I just expanded the point, because I could see the relevance.

I've given evidnece of what I wrote. Your tendency is to wade in with snide remarks, this is my POV of you. I think the Alex of old, championing the cause for bug fixes was a much better than forum Mod Alex, who jumps in a make silly comments to break up some constructive flow of threads.

Good Morning,

I probably should just wave... There's an art to "splitting hairs".  Cakewalk did say coming in late January... that is in the release statement.. Splitting hairs defers to the fact that the statement did not say "Late January 2015. The OP asked for an ETA for "new features". The OP could have been thinking of the Boz +10Db with his ETA request but splitting hairs would have us to defer back to the same statement to see that the Boz was never mentioned nor was Cakewalk's integrity questioned... With all that said.. The emotional energy spent on this is a bit much.. going to take a nap.. thx

Yup I agree sorry from my perspective.

The +10db plugin is not a member freebie. Andrew quite clearly stated that and is an issue entirely different to the monthly updates and releases.

For goodness sakes the product was only officially released on January 21st. I would expect that there will be an update and fixes released in February sometime. I don't understand why some folks have a problem with this. That's all we know and can reasonably speculate on the basis that Cakewalk have said there'll be monthly updates and bug fixes. Sheesh!

It's Cakewalks commitment to their word that's being questioned.

Don't get so dramatic. I wish more people actually worked at companies that provide a product, not just a service. Which do you want; an unfinished product that meets its deadline, or a finished product that is a little late? nothing is stopping you from making music with the plugs you have.

It does say late January, but it's not the end of January yet. The time to say it didn't arrive in late January would be February 1.

But, you can't win either way. When Cakewalk doesn't announce a release date precisely for this reason, then they're accused of being secretive and withholding information. If they do announce an approximate release date, then the expectation is that no delay is allowed, even if there was a record-setting blizzard in Boston that shut down shipping, traffic, stranded several Cakewalk employees in Anaheim after NAMM because flights were canceled, and prevented some Cakewalk employees in Boston from even making it into the office.

If you have a problem with record-setting blizzards disrupting day-to-day activities at Cakewalk (and there was no way that Cakewalk could have know that kind of blizzard would occur when the press release was written), that's something to take up with God but I doubt He cares all that much
