hooray! it's here! downloading as soon as i get home. after January 31st came and went with no plugin, i was beginning to have doubts in my entire opinion about Cakewalk as an ongoing enterprise! but now that it's here, i'm totally soooo over that. i'm sure my 16/7 326bpm brazilian toaster jazz will sound great from now on.

/s, except for the part about downloading when i get home.

It always amazes me how some people have nothing better to do than complain about things like software release dates. I mean, seriously, ....... don't you have anything more important in your life?

I've no doubt they have a roadmap, but it would be extremely foolish to share that information on a forum.

why? when x3 was released andrew even went onto kvr and spelt out the a, b, c, releases, albeit in a high-level way (as you'd expect) - it's not unreasonable to wonder where the membership sub goes...

The difference with X3 is that generally it was bug fixes and a couple of enhancements (if I remember correctly).

With the new membership model, its features and bug fixes. Announcing features could erode Cakewalk's competitive advantage

They have given us a couple of nuggets on their "next up" page.

thanks for responding; aiui, the "next up" stuff is in the first monthly update, and then the next bits will be announced?
