Has anyone else noticed that the event list does not refresh when you choose new tracks in sonar? If I select a track, then choose event list, the event list view opens, and on the tab is the name of the track. If you leave that view open, select another track and choose event view, the name on the event view tab changes to the new track, but the events do not change - they remain the events of the first track chosen. I have to close the tab and re open it to get the events to refresh.
I have seen similar behavior in earlier versions. Surely this can't be right - or am I missing something? It wouldn't be the first time:)

Hmmm... using Pick Tracks or Previous/Next Track in the Event View has always been the one way to ensure that it does refresh immediately. Opening clips from the track view into an existing Event list view was always problematic.
 
I just checked in Platinum, and it seems to be working okay here with both old and new projects, so there might be something about the specific project you're working with. Have you tried others?

Sometimes the event list does not refresh in X3e either.  Many of Sonar's bugs are graphics bugs, like this one, perhaps they will be fixed, perhaps not.  

Thanks for the responses. I have tested a new project and you are right brundlefly - it seems to be working perfectly in Platinum which is great news. It is only when I open projects that were created in x3 or earlier.
 
There have been a few tenaciously quirky graphics bugs over the years JSG - we'll call them character:)
I think this latest release is  the most stable initial version we have seen in a very long time though.
