If I'm understanding correctly....when we upgrade to Platinum (already have)...and we already have upgraded to AD2 from X3 (which gave us three Adpaks)... we get an additional three ADpaks, three MIDIpaks,  and any Kitpiece pak.

Can anyone confirm this to be fact...?

I have already pre-ordered, so I suppose it's a moot point :) ....but I am curious.  If it is in fact true...it just makes upgrading to Platinum that much more of a value.

Anyone upgrading to Platinum gets this bundle from XLN Audio http://www.xlnaudio.com/products/bundle/producer_bundle, an AD2 bundle allowing you to pick any three ADpaks, three MIDIpaks, and any three Kitpiece paks.

Yes. I am in the same situation with you. I wrote xln and ask them they said I will get adpaks pro which is 3 adpaks, 3 midipaks and 3 kit pieces.

I also paid the Sonar Platinum "Pre-Order" but I already own All of the Ad-Paks / Midi-Paks / Kit Paks?

I am just curious how CW is going to sync expired membership with XLN:
let say someone pay one month of Platinum. Does he also gets 3 ad-packs? What will happened with them after that month?

Not that is my case, but I do not see any discussions/explanations for that.

I'm guessing Cakewalk's new Command Center will make sure things you don't pay for will stop working.

You have to ask xlnaudio about this. During the launch of X3 back in 2013, those who already owned AD1 where given Addictive Keys as replacement. Unless you have already own that too!

I hoping XLN aren't over with making kits. They have covered most bases, but there are still some things I'd like to see from them.

I have just 7 of the 17 kits, but the Fairfax duo covers my rockiers tastes, because I don't have a lot of rockier tendencies. I was originally disappointed by the the key part of of the none core-elements bundle, being x3 clearly got the Pro users that would be interested in Addiictive Drums interested (addicted) so the odds are they would have bought the kits they really needed over the last year. With only one kit left on my radar (session percssion) this makes nay kit purchases luxury to my needs

I've gone back through them and may be reel machines will come of interest, despite feeling those tupe sounds are part of my past (I sold my novation drum station before moving out here). I think I'll just leave them on the radar. I have a few kit pieces on my account with them, until I new which ones I really wanted . So even If I picked up a session or reel I think it's quite nice to have one or two credits sitting on XLN's accounts. They must have something up their sleeves for the next year. I guess they'd also be branching out from keys and drums too, but new kits are also away of showiing a product is current and not done.

I'm hoping for a mallet kit, maybe a hotrods kit for those unplugged sessions for something stronger than the brush kit. Session Percussion was focused on sounding like a percussion drum kit, so neglected a stack of standard percussion instruments to fit this ethos. I hope they make up this shortfall, I don't know in another drum kit format how they'd lay it out. So I guess through kit peices would work. But I'd love to be able to go to just one sound source for my percussion needs.

Yeah, I was kind of excited to listen to the demo of the Session Percussion Adpak...but it just didn't trip my trigger.  I have went thru the kits and have picked out the three I'm gonna get.

As far as percussion goes...for now I will just stick with using Latin Percussion with Superior Drummer 2.  Actually I'd like to see ToonTrak make a newer SDX Percussion pack for SD2...since the Latin Perc is actually an EZX EZ Drummer kit.

Theirs another Pandiero, bongos and a cajon in the kit peices. Not sure why they spent time on a a Pandiero when their is one in the session percussion, but maybe they wanted to give a few things for when a couple of guitarist sit and jam round a beech fire. But it's a sign that the kit peices could be used for more percussion options.

Maybe the'd do an orchestral drumkit, with kettle drums for bass and toms, marching snare, triangle for hi-hat, hand held cymbals :)
