I'm having the exact same problem; and I contacted Cakewalk Support - over a week ago and have not heard back.  Can anybody help?  I had X1 - upgraded to X2 - and now X3 - I am fully patched up to X3d BUT still I get the error message "Outdated Quad EQ.. blah blah" and then EQ Analyzer doesn't function among other problems with the EQ.    Is it possible to go into RegEdit and tell X3 where to find the latest version of Quad Eq??  Thanks... really frustrated, and not happy with Cakewalk for NOT getting back to me.  (I've been with Cakewalk since the TwelveTone days)

Peace,
Joel

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\PCS-GlossEQM.dll

is the file that needs to be replaced.

Thanks - I gather I pull it from the X3 install folder?  :)

I have/had this problem after upgrading from X1 Studio to X2 Producer to X3 Producer (With X1 Producer trial along the way).

I think I've solved the problem. I found like others above that there was "Internal" and "Internal trial" folders at the location specified by Noel. I renamed the PCS-GlossEQM.dll in the trial folder to PCS-GlossEQM.dll.old (and all the rest of them) and the messages have gone away for the moment.

Just check with the my main project from yesterday that had issues and it all works with with no errors.

Hope this helps you all.

Dave.

Awesome! Deleted the folder in the directory (C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\) that wasn't supposed to be there and Eureka!
Uninstalled and reinstalled like a crazy person when that was all I needed to do.
Thanks guys.
