Sure he would; he could still interact as normal, but we would all understand that he has the right to be firm and come down hard any time he sees fit to deal with apparent undue excessive negativity, and Cakewalk admin would have the final word if it ever gets that far. That way we wouldn't feel like there's so many to be wary of as it is now.

True, but some people have be banned for life in the past. That's not "all in the mind”

Another day, another thread turning into host discussion in the Sonar forums.
I've actually invented a drinking game for this now...

Alex, you're in the clear! Sanderxpander is the 'Gestapo' today.

Sometimes references like that upset me because they so undersell how truly terrible the Nazis were.

Some people were put in prison for more than half of their life before the judges found out they were innocent. And then.................
If your feelings were hurt because you were banned, thats one thing.
Not being able to move, think, eat, enjoy life are another.
Here they have no Golden Globe awards to give out.
You were lucky. You were just banned. The last members were shot and buried.

Drone7, I get the feeling that you're out here trying to spin every little bit of info about Sonar in the most negative way possible. Is there a reason for that?

What you're feeling (as you put it) is not consistent with the facts, so why are you saying it?? If you would take the time to quote in here my last 50 posts, I think people will see you seem to be getting a false impression. The legs on your horse seem a little long, try cutting them off at the knee so you can see more clearly. I don't appreciate you making something out of nothing. I give fair praise and criticisms on both sides of the fence, so what is there to explain? I suggest you get your facts straight before acting like the Gestapo.

This reply seems to prove Sanderxpanders point, not yours.

Does anyone know if Sonar automatically includes the very latest version of all it's third-party plugins like the Nomad factory Blue Tubes and Melodyne and REmatrix Verb etc?
I notice there are sometimes updates to these plugins at the manufacturer's website, so i want to know if Cakewalk automatically integrate these latest versions without us having to do it ourselves and keep track of them all.

I think that Cakewalk freezes what is included from 3rd-party included components at some point in their development/testing process, and that makes sense if you think about it, because otherwise they would have to test everything all over again prior to publishing a release - otherwise known as a Release To Manufacturing.

In the case of X3's initial release, they were able to include their first set of updates with it - just how it all worked out.

Generally, you would have to manually go check for updates from the various authors of the 3rd-part components.
