The idea behind the expanding fx bin is great but after right clicking and inserting one effect there's only about a single pixel row target for right clicking and selecting subsequent fx. It's an infuriatingly small target and very fiddly to do more than one effect.

I end up going to the browser and drag them in from there and that's not anywhere near as quick and easy as right clicking in the bin should be.

Anybody else find this annoying or is there a simple workaround that I'm missing apart from dragging and dropping from the browser

You could try the [+] button in the FX bin to add the next plugin.

Hello,

In addition to what Stickman stated, There is also the black triangle that appears on the right side of a loaded effect when one hovers over it that adds the next one. IHTH

Right clicking anywhere on the title bar of an fx bin always works for me for adding an fx.

Thanks. I've been looking for a way hoping that we weren't expected to find such a small target.

Are you using Auto Track Zoom? I keep all my tracks to the smallest width where I can still see the Mute and Solo, and then click on the track I'm working on. Because of the Auto Track Zoom, the track I click on will open to whatever I've set the default at, which is the height of the last track I worked on. I usually set it for around three inches, which allows me to easily click in the bins, and that's my preferred way to enter effects. I can easily fit four effects in that space. Auto Track Zoom is under View at the top of the track pane.

I was talking about the new feature within Console view. "the new expanding fx bin" I'm aware of how the track view works. I just missed the obvious.
