Is there any possibility to record bus output to track? Or at least digitally route the sound card output to one of inputs without using patch bay?  
I do have sonar x3e and sonar vstudio 700 set.

You can of course Bounce to track, selecting any buss(es) you want, but I don't think this is what you asked.

You are right this is not what I want, one of the things I want to export is the built in metronome. I already read some posts but they were belong to older version of sonars. I am wondering if the new version make it come through?

I think you should still be able to bounce the metronome to track if you enable metronome during playback. Otherwise you could still build a metronome from one of the included drum synths really easily. Even save it as a track template if you like, or as part of your project template.

Well, you could route the metronome to one of the other v700 outs, and connect that output with a TRS cable to a free input and record that way. You'd probably have to adjust for latency after though. Maybe the external insert plugin could help with that, not sure. There's no "inside the box" way of doing what you want to do.
 
This is a feature I'd like to see in a future update. All kinds of ways it could be handy.

thanks for your replies.  As I tried there is no way to bounce it to track and unfortunately it seems I should use the patch bay to do that. I am wonder how come this feature which some times is more useful than bouncing haven't design yet?

I'd say this isn't a feature, for the fear of the infinite feedback loop.
It would be very easily done,  
more so, more newbies are likely to do it and have problems, than people using the feature.
on the rare occasion i'vI've needed to do anything like it, I bounce, as it's much quicker than routing out and back in and then playba k recording.
as far as building metronomes goes, all the sounds are in the media browser so you can quickly get say 4 bars made up in an audio track and them groove clip it, to extend it to as much as you need.

You can do this with the Sidechain Mixer plugin. You can feed the output or send of any bus back into any other track.
 
I'm not sure about recording it though as Noel said recording is only available on hardware inputs. But it sounds like you might not need to actually record it if it can play back in realtime as well be exportable.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with Sidechain Mixer plug-in because the recording on the track occurs before the effects bin.
You will get a blank track if you try it.

I have a "loopback" enable on my Steinberg UR-44 audio card, which allows the computers audio to be re-routed, and hence is able to send it to an armed track (without feedback issues).  If your audio card has a similar feature, you might try it out.  Any rate, I'm able to record the metronome via this method.
