In X3, if you right-click to create a marker in the timeline, the NOW time is moved to the click point, and the marker is placed at the NOW time.

In SONAR 2015, the NOW time is not moved - and the marker is placed under the NOW time, not where the mouse click occurred.

At first I was a little confused by this because I trained myself to right-click in the ruler to place a marker at the click location. However, on the whole, I prefer this new behavior.

So, thanks Cakewalk Guys.

I think you must have Right Click Sets Now enabled in Track View Options > Click Behavior in X3, and not in Platinum.

I have to say, the Platinum way is more intuitive for me. I'm still trying to get used to Blender's unique (and non-standard and non-intuitive) right-click behaviour.

It's nice, though, to have the choice.

Aw, crud. You're right. We've discovered another setting that wasn't migrated.
