Agreed. Maybe I should just throw this piece of crap up there and call it done? :)

Bill, I think you should take the time to do a real video, from a new user perspective and take 5 minutes to go over the entire PRV, including the changes... discussing what you are doing and how it all works in detail... This is a new model for Sonar and deserves new and better vids... PRV is soooo important and many will benefit from a fresh look...All the tricks and tweaks...which I haven't mastered and should!!!

Very kind Geoff to go to that trouble for me. Thank you.  I know about it and I have it I just haven't used it yet. My main drums are BFD 3. It provides and automatic drum map. I also use Battery 3. I do like the sound AD 2 has though.

One question,

why is it that the Quantize function is still in a dialogbox??
I´m maybe one of the few people playing in notes and then editing them instead of mouseclicking them in,
so in another daw I use, Quantizingparameters are just there in an inspector, so once I make a change I can always use them by just hitting ´Q´.
I also never understood why there is no proper swing function. Swing in default is set to 50%, which is not logical.
A binary beat is 0% and then you add the swing..

Not beeing rude or anything, just trying to understand why CW doesn´t adress these things..

True, but I don´t want Sonar to quantize my whole piano track, I want to decide myself what to quantize..

When you use the quantize dialog box it retains the last setting you had until you change it, for example if you quantize a note to 1/8th resolution and close the box when you select another note and hit Q it opens the dialog box still set to 1/8th resolution. There is also a timing tool in the tools module you can quantize individual notes with.

I find the PRV (in Platinum multi-track mode) almost unusable in that scenario.

Can I ask why you find it unusable?

BJ, there's a number of posts in the problem report forum about multi-track PRV editing but specifically this one drives me crazy.
