From your comment, you don't even know what vocal sync is. It is not autotune or pitch correction. It is used to adjust the timing of vocal so if you have a doubled vocal or backing vocals you can line them up timing wise to make them tighter.
Perhaps more crucially, anyone doing dialog for picture will find it helpful. When dialog is recorded in the field, there's usually background noise that can't be in the final footage. So, actors "loop" the dialog by listening to their original dialog and doubling what they said. Any deviations between the two make the sound appear out of sync with the lip movements. VocalSync tightens up the dialog.
Not that the "I have no idea what I'm talking about but I'll comment anyway" guy cares, but others might find this helpful if they stumble on this thread.
I fully recognize this (and that is one of the things that I will likely be using it for as I am involved in a video production team), but I left it out given that the OP would likely state "what's that got to do with making music?"
