  • [Solved] Melodyne - no multiple instances

Previously when using Melodyne, I could have the editor open for more than one clip (for aligning / comparing timing/pitch of notes, etc).  After upgrading to Platinum, when I open once instance of Melodyne, the other open clip disappears from the editor view.  It still exists as a Region FX, but only one is open at a time without going back and re-double-clicking on the other instance.  I can no longer easily toggle between clips being edited.

Is this a setting that I need to reconfigure, or a nuance/glitch in Platinum?

It also appears that it is re-analyzing the Melodyne clip when it re-opens.  I have not bounced it to a new clip; in the past the edited clip stayed open in editor, and even if you clicked it closed any edits remained as you had left them when you re-opened the clip in editor, until you bounced it to a clip.

Now, when it re-opened a previously edited Melodyne clip, previously edited "blobs" had in some instances been fused with adjacent notes and were pitch-averaged in between - indicating Melodyne had re-analyzed the clip when re-opening it.  This was a matter of moments later - just opening another Melodyne clip, then re-opening this one.

Thanks!  I somehow didn't bring that recent thread up in my search.
