I have turned off grid lines and turned them back on they show up and go away but these are different grid lines they are dotted grid lines and they do not go over the entire track view clip pane. Some of the take lanes do not have them either.

This is a project imported from an older version of Cakewalk.

Right click the wave file, click associated audio files the click recompute pictures and the grid lines go away. :)
