I'm very disappointed that the below did not get fixed. I waited 10 months for this and it is a big deal for me. If I would have known it was still an issue I would not have purchased. I would like to know why and if it ever will/can be fixed.

This case is still on our radar. Has this ever worked in a previous version that you know of?

I'm not a Dev, but since Enable/Disable Track editing also does not persist, these controls were probably never tied with saving. If that is true, it's probably better qualified as a feature request. It is possible that they broke at the same time, if it was implemented in a prior version. Regardless, I've updated the report with some new notes.

Hi Seth,

Thanks for the quick reply.  In short, I do not remember if that feature ever worked. I do know that the Tech Support guy did a Great job of working with me and I believe he actually created the Trouble Ticket.

I do have hope since this is still on the radar and if there is anything I can do to make this more visible Please let me know. Thanks again for the reply and following up on this.

Kind regards,
Rick

Any news on the bug fixes list Cakewalk?
Taking an awful long time to post a list.

Not really. This isn't a five minute job and they've been busy on Namm...

Give em another week or two, two weeks ago people were complaining about where the new version of Sonar was, give 'em a break it is coming...

It's a list. What possible excuse would there be of not having the list already compiled if they were being addressed the entire time? And if the problems were being addressed and the list compiled, why would it take so long to simply post a list? For anybody wondering, "so long" is relative to the release time of a piece of software. Most software releases, especially updated software, are done so with a bug list in close tandem if not simultaneously. Even Sonar itself has honored that tradition up until this release. I don't think asking for that degree of transparency is being impatient or unreasonable.

I suggest one day you go and work for a software house that isn't MS or Apple, in the fullness of time what you write will probably be normal, but it takes time to get a new system and processes into place.

I'm afraid shouting 'are we there yet' ain't gonna speed things up... You will get it but you will need to wait a little bit longer, sorry for the inconvenience...

You aren't the only one waiting for this so am I.

That doesn't make any sense. We are there actually. The software has been released. Nobody is shouting. I am asking for a sensible addendum to a software release. This isn't merely inconvenient, it doesn't make any sense.

We are in fact there: we've arrived at the destination but blind-folded.

As you know I was writing about the list not the software which had been delivered.
Patience Master Luke... May the force be with you... Feel the force it is all around, a blindfold is a good start.

Great, so was I.
I have patience for reasonable things. This is not one of them.
