Channel Tools is in the spacial folder in the "Platinum Effects" layout. I perfer to use the "Default All Plug-ins" layout instead of the "Platinum Effects" Layout. Use the down arrow in the Plugins tab to set the layout.

Thanks Scook but no luck see below I am wondering if I should do re-install as I cannot find the Studio Mastering Suite either and I do have it set to Platinum Plugins only.

Perhaps slightly off topic/not what you are looking for but in one of the Groove3 vids about mixing with Sonar the guy uses Channels Tools to create an effect he calls "Mono Maker". Kind of cool. If you have an account with them it might give some ideas to folks about this kind of thing. That is an extreme technique (pure mono) but it can be tailored to varying degrees.

I also just transferred all my notes from when I was working through all those G3 tutorials and I think I made elaborate step by step notes on that one if they help.

As far as I know Cake did not remove Channel Tools. Don't see any reason why they would.

As you can see by the last image I posted there are no Channel Tools in my Platinum Audio FX Spacial folder. I'll keep digging oh and just out of interest Sonar Platinum does not show as being installed on my PC either in the control panel or CC Cleaner so I can't see how to uninstall it even if I wanted to Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh.

If you want to uninstall Platinum, right-click on the item in the Control Center. From what I can see, it appears at least the Engineering FX Suite was not installed. Do all the lights in the Control Center indicate everything was installed?

Many thanks Scook you are a star. Yes everything is showing as being installed except for Melodyne Essentials. I also have a confession to make I did not stop my anti-virus during the install so that could be the reason why some things did not install. I will do an unistall then reinstall without the anti-virus running and see if it resolves the problem. I'll be back.

Thanks again and you are correct as this time without the antivirus running the download is taking much longer the following are being installed as we speak.

Don't forget about the Nomad series plug-ins, there's a stereo widener/narrower in that bundle that will do the job nicely. It should be included in Platinum.
