Got an email from the Bakers saying the Platinum intro offer is ending soon.  Anyone know when?  I was hoping to hold off a few weeks...

Pretty much the same here. I went ahead and signed up! I won't be surprised if they occasionally offer that price again with swa video thrown in, but I didn't want to take any chances.

Yes I have rescanned my plugins several times and changed my display adapters and updated my drivers at least 16 million times.. No crashes yet... Then again I've only used it for 30 mins...

I just got an email from Cakewalk today (it seems like I now get one every day, but I'm not complaining !).
 
It says nothing about the sale ending soon, only telling me I can buy it for the full price.
 
If I go to the store, the price does drop down to the current sale price once in the basket.
 
We've been told that we'd get ample notice before the sale ended.  I presume that doesn't mean to only a select few by email.

Sale or not it just ain't in the cards right now sadly. Looks spliffy.

Reset first and then rescan.
Chances are your video drivers were updated in the last 15 seconds, better check!!!
