Actually, I got scared to use the Reset option as it said it would reset all my VST's to default values. I'm not sure what this means, but until I have clarification I don't want to risk losing my already loaded-up synths.
 

A reset clears and rebuilds the VST Inventory in the registry. If you have changed any VST plug-in properties, like the one mentioned in msg #19 they will be lost. That is all.

Success! Thanks Brando, configuring as synth did it.
 
BTW, the Strings are going to be very useful!

Awesome. Skook actually mentioned it in a post earlier in the thread. I've had to use the setting tweak occasionally when synth installs go awry. Glad you got it working.
